Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if you can’t be home when your order is picked up or delivered?

    When you order online, just let us know where you'll be leaving your laundry or would like them left.   Common places are on the front porch, the back porch, the garage, behind the gate or with the apartment manager. Just note this information in the Preference area when you are checking out.

  • What do I put my laundry in?

    You can place your laundry in a White 13-Gallon or Black 30-Gallon Trash bag. We will replace the bag at the facility. If hamper is used the hamper is sanitized before the clean laundry is folded and placed back in your personal hamper. 

  • What are you doing for the COVID-19 pandemic and our laundry?

    We are following the CDC Guidelines to keep your clothes and our staff safe.

    • Clothes are washed and dried at the warmest appropriate setting as defined by the item’s manufacturer.
    • All laundry is dried completely. (The option of having your clothes air-dried has temporarily been suspended.)
    • Any member of the Charming Mobile Laundry team showing any sign of illness will remain at home and self-isolate.
    •   Social distancing will be practiced at the Charming Mobile Laundry care.
    •  Charming Mobile Laundry team members –laundry care professionals and drivers – are required to wash and sanitize their hands frequently and wear disposable gloves when appropriate.
    •  All “high touch” points – like washer and dryer door handles, tablets and folding tables – are regularly disinfected.

     

    Charming Mobile Laundry Standard Procedures

    • As always, laundry from different households is never mixed.

    Our laundry care professionals wear gloves while sorting, washing and folding laundry.

    All completed laundry orders are bagged in plastic bags and stored apart from clothes that have not been processed. Unless you have purchased a Reusable laundry bag.

     Folding tables are sanitized between orders.

    All Reusable laundry bags are laundered before being returned to customers.

  • Do you offer Laundry Sanitation for our laundry?

    Yes. Our “Laundry Sanitizer” contains only H2O2 & Water:

     

    •  Contains NO Additives, NO perfumes or dyes!
    • ​ Acts as a whitener and will not fade colors (color safe).
    • ​ Power of Hydrogen Peroxide kills 99.9% bacteria and microorganism.
    • ​ Great alternative to bleach!

     

     *Additional .50¢/per pound will be added to your service for Laundry Sanitizer add-on.

  • How much does this laundry service cost?

    We will wash, dry and neatly fold your laundry. We charge $2.99 per pound for clothing. We will NOT know the exact price until your laundry is weighted. You will ONLY be charged a non-refundable deposit of $20 that will be applied toward your laundry service after it's completed. Orders over $100 will be charged in full before process.     Estimate: a typical 13 gallon white trash bag will cost approximately $30.00 and a large 30 gallon black trash bag approximately $65.00.

     

     *We currently have a 3 bag maximum per order.

     

    ​*Comforters, blankets, rugs and other washable items will be charged a flat fee $25.00 per item. Please read instructions.

  • Will my clothes be washed with other client’s clothes?

    Absolutely NOT. We will NEVER wash or dry your clothes with anyone else’s. 

  • How long does it take for laundry to be done?

    Your laundry will be done in 24-48 hours depending on the Time slots available.

  • Labels and Separation

    Please read any lables that are associated with your laundry and seperate the items that needs special attention. Laundry is color sorted if not already seperated at the facility Charming Laundry  is not respondsable for lost, missing or damaged items.
